2nd Annual Maple Syrup Weekend - tentatively planned March 20-21, 2010
We are inviting guests this weekend to visit our farm winery at Hilltop Orchards to see how maple syrup is made (not to be confused with popular brands of "pancake syrup" that contain high fructose corn syrup). Although our farm is largely populated with apple trees, we are fortunate to have some sugar maples that we will tap to make pure maple syrup. Watch a demonstration of how maple candy is made and taste a free sample! Of course, while you are at Hilltop Orchards you'll also be treated to free wine tasting of any of our 14 award-winning Furnace Brook Wines. |
