Aston Magna Music Festival
Now in its 38th season, the Aston Magna Festival features baroque and classical music performed on period instruments. This involves the use of original instruments or historically accurate reproductions. One of the three venues they perform at is the Daniels Center in Great Barrington.
Barrington Stage Company
BSC has become the fastest growing arts venue in Berkshire County, attracting some 45,000 patrons each year, and gaining national recognition for its superior quality productions. In the last five years, BSC produced eight world premieres. Located in a beautiful state of the art theater in downtown Pittsfield.
Berkshire Theatre Festival
The Berkshire Theatre is the eldest performing arts venue in Berkshire County and one of the oldest in the United States. Berkshire Theatre is located in Stockbridge, approximately 4 miles from Garden Gables B&B.
Colonial Theater
Located in downtown Pittsfield, Massachusetts the Colonial Theatre is a Gilded Age architectural gem dating back to the first performance in 1903. It was lovingly restored and brought back to life in 2006 as a leading performing arts center in the “heart of the Berkshires.”
Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival
Berkshires Jacob’s Pillow is America’s premier dance festival, and now a National Historic Landmark. About 15 miles from the B&B.
Mac-Haydn Theater
Just over the border in New York is a professional musical 350-seat theater-in-the-round where every seat is less than 30 feet from the stage. Among the more famous alumni are Broadway star Nathan Lane, TV's "The Agency" star Paige Turco, and Metropolitan Opera star Frank Lopardo.
Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center
This historic theater has been beautifully restored and is a year-round center of cultural life in the Berkshires. The theater is located in Great Barrington, walk from the theater to lots of unique shops and restaurants.
