Dinner at the Inn
We offer several dining options at the Inn. All of our meals are freshly prepared daily by our professionally-trained chefs.
From November through May, our Chef's Table is available Friday and Saturday evenings, by request. Our head innkeeper and executive chef, Denise Altland, will prepare a European country classic main course, complemented by appetizer, salad and a homemade dessert.
In March, enjoy our newest dinner offering - the Raclette Dinner Party. Raclette is a traditional Alpine meal, which features authentic Raclette cheese, sizzling shrimp and meats all prepared at your table grill, complemented by salad and one of our homemade desserts.
During Tanglewood season, we offer a private and relaxing evening at the Inn, with gourmet 4-course dinners offered on Thursday and Saturday nights. We emphasize the use of local and organic foods with a refined, continental menu. Guests can reserve seatings from 5:30 through 7:30pm. If space is available we will be pleased to allow guests to invite friends and family who are not staying at the Inn.

David Dorsen, Food & Wine Editor of Washingtonian Magazine (1990-2005):
"Be sure to eat dinner at Garden Gables Inn. Truly excellent food and service, at or near the top in Lenox. After visiting the area for over 25 years, I cannot recall a better dinner than I had at Garden Gables. Bringing your own wine for just a $5.00 corkage fee is another bonus.” July 11, 2009
Dinner on the Town
Lenox and the surrounding Berkshire towns offer a multitude of casual and fine dining options. For your convenience we have collected many of the current restaurant menus in a book located in our Guest Pantry. We are happy to assist you with recommendations and reservations.

We will do our best to accommodate special dietary requirements (including but not limited to low-fat, vegetarian, and gluten-free) when notified at the time of reservation.
“Northern hospitality... I have a gluten allergy, and mentioned this when making the reservation - no problem. The innkeeper even prepared some gluten free brownies for me. They were easily the best brownies I've ever had."
